Athletic movement is the result of the integrated activity of the neuromotor units. The following phenomena are described in a detailled way; the process of liberation of energy, the reproduction of ATP, anaerobic process with or without lactate and the anaerobic process, indicating characteristics and limits. In the final part this mechanisms are analyzed in young people from 9 to 14 years old.
